This year I had the pleasure of attending the annual NAS Key West Air Spectacular at the Naval Air Station in Key West. This year, and this particular event I believe, will be the last time that the Blue Angels perform for the foreseeable future, due to budget cuts their shows will be discontinued. Please read on to see some of the sights!

The Blue Angels' Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules aircraft flys toward the sun at the 2013 NAS Key West Air Spectacular. The Hercules is a cargo plan designed in the 1950's by Lockheed Martin, capable of lifting 300 pounds per square foot, lifting off in just 855 feet of runway.
